Clara Elliot {one month}

Here we are already at one month old. She’s our little baby girl and so far she’s been our easiest baby yet.

Stats…

Weight: at 3 weeks she was 10.4 lbs so I’m guessing about 12 lbs now.

Length: again at 3 weeks she was 22 inches long

Clothes: 3 month sizes

They would have floor time together. Isaac wouldn’t like it if Clara wasn’t looking at him the whole time. #siblingbondingtime

She has had quite the eventful first month with a move to Minnesota at a week old, having a brother in a spica cast, and just in general adjusting to life as a newborn.

Sleeping wise, I’d say she’s been a pretty typical newborn. Waking often in the first few weeks to eat and is now down to two to three times waking at night. As long as she’s not congested she goes back down in her crib easily at night after feeding. Naps are whenever she wants to sleep during the day. I haven’t started her on any naptime or bedtime routines yet.

She eats often but is good at nursing and that aspect has been an easier transition than either of the two boys.
