Well it’s been a long time since I last posted. I thought I might at least do one pregnancy update for this third child (#thirdchildproblems). Here goes nothing…
Gender: girl
Baby size: large, I actually feel like stomach wise, I’m not as big this pregnancy as with Isaac. I’m hoping she’s not as big.
Weight gain: 30 lbs.
What’s different this pregnancy compared to the previous two? Not a whole lot, but a few “notable” ones include:
- I can’t wear my wedding ring because it’s giving me a rash on my finger. It’s a bummer because my fingers aren’t swollen so it still fits.
- Thankfully this pregnancy I really haven’t had much lower back pain which has been nice
- I was more sick this pregnancy in the first trimester than the other two.
- I have varicose veins only on my right leg. I’ve never had these before and I kinda had a freak out about it. My running compression calf sleeves help reduce the pain. Hopefully they go away once I’m done being pregnant because they look gross (yes I’m vain).
- I’ve had nasal congestion this entire pregnancy.
Otherwise, this pregnancy has been very similar to the other two.
It’s been fun shopping for girl clothes. It’s a whole different world shopping for a girl. I’m actually glad a girl wasn’t my first child because I wouldn’t know where to start. At least now, I know what brands tend to fit our children, and which ones I like. When I go to garage sales and such I can be picky because girl clothes are abundant. Part of me though just wants to have her always in pink and wearing dresses.
